Minnesota's Minn. Stat. §181A.13 (HF 3488) applies to children under 18. Once a child appears in 30% or more of a creator's compensated content over a 30-day period, the creator must set aside 50% of the child's share of compensation into a trust for that child. Children under 14 cannot be featured in monetized content at all.

Open items before this is fully reliable

• Under-14 rule is stronger than a bare eligibility flag: the statute prohibits the minor from 'engaging in the work of content creation' at all once monetized, and the penalty if featured anyway is that the minor is entitled to 100% of the proceeds. • This statute's structure closely mirrors Illinois's; the same 12-month look-back and $0.01/view (not $0.10) monetization prong likely apply here too, but were not independently confirmed in this pass and are not modeled.
